My friend Jean gathered some bluebells and lilac from her garden this morning and they look so pretty in Paul's vases. They remind me of my childhood when I picked bluebells in the woods in springtime to take home for my mum. Whilst tidying the drawers of my hall desk this afternoon, a long overdue task, I came across two photos of Paul playing with his close friend Lisa's dogs. Lisa tells me that they were taken in 1996 in Battersea Park and that Staffy Samson and English bull terrier Karma adored Paul, as he did them. Sadly the doggies are no longer with us but they both had long and happy lives. Lisa bought another white English bull terrier puppy named Karli last November and lost Karma at the end of December, aged 15. I am sure that Lisa and kids Harry and Alix will share lots of happy years with cute little Karli, Paul would have loved her.
