I have been very busy today, along with friend Jean and sister Pat. Between us, we have turfed Paul's spot and I am so pleased with it. We set off in Pat's car for the garden centre at around midday and Jean very kindly bought the turfs. After we had prepared the soil, I laid the turfs and Pat and Jean did "water runs" in the car, filling numerous containers at the tap in order to give the new grass a thorough soaking. Of course, Pat had her camera with her and took photos of the "work in progress". Thanks must go to Pat and Jean for all their help. A pretty red plant and card has been left for Paul by friend Ann.
