It was a year ago today when family and friends gathered to say "goodbye" to Paul and celebrate his life. Today the sun shone down from a blue sky for Paul on his "special" day, just as it did last year. This afternoon, Paul's Auntie Pat and I met up with Paul's great friend Lisa and children Harry and Alix whom he loved. Lisa brought a picnic for the kids and we spent time at Paul's spot, looking through photos and remembering happy times. Lisa placed two pretty globe solar lights on Paul's beautiful memorial stone, one each from her and Luey, another of Paul's best friends. His "garden" of flowers looks so pretty. I have received lots of lovely messages today. It is comforting to have support from family and friends and to know that Paul is so fondly remembered by those who meant so much to him.
