Paul could best be described as a "wild child" in his late teens. At around this time, illegal warehouse parties or raves, as they later became known, were beginning to take place at "secret" venues throughout the UK. Paul loved to dance and along with his friends would search out the raves, even travelling as far as Wales. Ibiza was the favourite foreign holiday destination for dance parties where Paul got his first taste of Spain, quite unlike the Andalucia region of Spain which Paul grew to love as he got older and would speak of as the "real" Spain. Paul's love of music and dance began at an early age and stayed with him. After moving to London in 1991, he was able to enjoy and dance to the music of the club scene. The dance anthem "Silence" by Delerium was played at Paul's funeral to celebrate Paul's life and can be heard through the "musical note" link in this chapter of his "Lifestory" or alternatively by visiting the "Gallery" sounds link.
