I returned home two days ago from a 17 day tour of Borneo, shared with sister Pat and a great group of people we can now call friends. This is the tour that we cancelled in May of last year, following the sad loss of Paul. He was so excited for me and was looking forward to seeing my many photos. It was a privileged and emotional experience as I gazed in awe at the wonderful wildlife, especially the amazing orangutans which we sighted four times in the wild and also at the Sepilok Rehabilitation Centre. Paul loved animals and I thought of him often during this exciting tour. Many thanks to my friend Jean, who very kindly took care of Paul's spot for me while I was away. I visited yesterday and the flowers from Jean in Paul's favourite warm, sunny colours looked beautiful.
