My friend from childhood, Jean Dale has recently lost her mum Rosie who was 90 years old. Both Jean and I had wonderful mums and Rosie was like a second mum to me when we were growing up. I will be saying a few words as a tribute to Rosie when we say our goodbyes and celebrate her life on 11th August. I am also reading the following poem, which expresses the feelings I have for Paul and all those I love who are no longer with us. "Love Lives On" Those we love are never really lost to us We feel them in so many special ways Through friends they always cared about And dreams they left behind The happy times they added to our days In words they spoke that we still carry with us And memories that never will be gone Those we love are never really lost to us For everywhere their special love lives on
