I can't believe it is three years since I last wrote in my Journal. Time flies by so fast and much has happened since then. The biggest and happiest event in our family was the birth of baby Nyla. Paul's niece Jade and partner Theo welcomed a beautiful daughter into the world in July 2019, making me a proud great grandma and Paul a great uncle. He would have absolutely adored Nyla. An amazing £313.75 was donated to Epilepsy Action by family and friends on "Paul's Day" yesterday, smashing our £1,000 target by £123.35, setting us on the way to another £1,000!!! Tracey and I took fresh flowers to Paul's spot to mark his special day. We are in very strange times as the UK has been in "lockdown" since 23rd March due to a terrible pandemic which has swept the world, sadly causing many thousands of deaths. I leave the house once a day to take Monty for a short walk and Tracey shops for me once a week and leaves it on the doorstep to keep 2 metres "social distancing".
