I received a card from my friend Don Welsh today, with a lovely letter inside. This weekend is the first anniversary of losing Paul and just as last year, when I was away on a football weekender in Cardiff, this year I will be in Newcastle. I also had a lovely message via Facebook a few days ago from friend and fellow "weekender" Di Dingley, echoing many of Don's sentiments. I am feeling very apprehensive about the weekend and it is comforting to receive such kind words. I know that I will have support from everyone at this difficult time and am hoping that I can enjoy the weekend, just as Paul would want me to. Click on Don's letter to read.
