Last July I sent "thank you" cards to all those who had joined us on that beautiful sunny day in May to say our "goodbyes" to Paul and/or had sent flowers, a card or a donation. However, there were a few people who I was unable to contact and I am so pleased that I have now been able to say "thank you" to Louise Long (now Creese), Paul's friend from his early schooldays. Louise sent pretty flowers and a message for Paul but we were unable to discover where she now lives. Thanks to Facebook and the recently formed group "Memories of growing up in Clacton in the 70's and 80's", we have found her. Daughter Tracey posted a message about Paul and Louise commented on it. She now lives in Brisbane, Australia and I have contacted her with a belated "thank you". Paul sometimes spoke of Louise when we were discussing schooldays as she was one of his best friends from junior school. I do hope that she will visit our "Remembering Paul" tribute to share our treasured memories of him.
