Monty and I have been for a walk to check on Paul's spot after the very high winds and heavy rain of the past week.I was pleased to see that Toro, Paul's black labrador dog statuette was still in place on his memorial stone and the pretty silk roses in the posy vase are withstanding the weather well but it has taken it's toll on the potted crysanthemum plants which I removed this afternoon. As cut flowers do not last long in such exposed conditions during the winter months, I can hopefully find two bright and hardy plants to replace the crysanths.
