Three years ago today we received the heartbreaking news that Paul had died. The family and I and Paul's many friends were devastated and as each year passes the pain of losing him is still there. We all love and miss him so much. Friend Jean Hayes and I, not forgetting puppy Monty, have been to Paul's spot today to take fresh flowers. Jean has picked bluebells from her garden for his posy pot. My friend Jean Dale has left another pretty plant for him and the plant she left on his birthday is still blooming with beautiful scarlet flowers. I am going away to York for a four days football "weekender" tomorrow which brings back such sad memories of the last time I spoke to Paul, the day before the Cardiff "weekender" in April 2009. He will be in my thoughts as always and I know he would say "Enjoy yourself Mum". Paul came on the "weekenders" too during his schooldays and 14 year old Paul, along with sisters Tracey and Nicola and his Auntie Pat, were with me when we stayed in the same York hotel 26 years ago.
