Regards, Don - May 2009

Hi Jill, I am just writing to tell you of my feelings regarding Paul's extraordinary funeral. I was very moved by the occasion, the poems, the tributes and readings brought tears to my eyes, you must be so proud of your family. Although a sad occasion, there was power in the words spoken which your Paul would have loved. I wasn't aware of his literary talents, his poems simply brilliant. I was especially moved by Liam's reading of A Day Out With Uncle Paul. Tonight after work, Megan and I are off to London to see Erica by train. From today and forever afterwards when I arrive in the busy Liverpool Street station, I will be reminded of 'Uncle Paul'. I also enjoyed the music choices, which again will always remind me of him when they are played in future, which is good. Take care Jill and I look forward to see you soon. Pass on my best regards to all the family, your strength together was there for all to see. I was proud of you and it is a privilege for you to be my very dear friend. I have enclosed a photo of my Megan to look after you. She is sitting in her favourite meadow, just thinking.
